ABOUT ME
My name is Zhengyang Li. I am a senior student at DigiPen Institute of Technology graduating in summer 2018. I study Computer Science in real-time interactive simulation with a minor degree of Mathematics. My personal motto is: be positive, be humble, be helpful.
I can never over-estimate how I love games, and I can tell infinite stories of how I fell in love with games. Through decades, I've been holding and approaching my dreams of games. Since I was seven years old, I have set my life goal, which is to make a game. A game that everyone plays; a game that everyone enjoys; a game that connects real and virtual worlds; a game that will be written into books and history.
Other than making games, I'm also a "dinosaur " player. I have been playing Dota for more than 5,000 hours, or 12 years. I'm also a big fan of AAA games. I've played most of PC AAA games including all Call of Duty series. My favorite kind is RPG or those games that have touching stories. For me, a touching story is the soul of any game. Witcher series is a perfect example. It is always true to me that, some word, sentence or story that is inspiring, and that may be the key to connect virtual and real worlds.
Now I'm looking for an opportunity. Are you looking for a person you can always rely on and never give up? Are you looking for someone who always learns, remembers and applies knowledge quickly? Are you looking for an optimist who always inspires others and brings positive energy like a small sun? Do you want someone in your team who is always full of passion and look forward? Do you desire a programmer who solves problems with not only skills, but also innovation? I am the one you've been waiting for.
Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than a boy of twenty. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing child-like appetite of what's next, and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young.
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you've grown old, even at twenty, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch the waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at eighty.
